Pentreath is nestled in the one of the oldest and most picturesque streets in the historic twin fishing villages of Kingsand and Cawsand.  

The villages of Kingsand and Cawsand are a designated conservation area and sit within an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. The maze of narrow streets and pretty cottages provide a thriving community with excellent local pubs, churches, shops, tea rooms and restaurants. There are accessible sandy beaches in each village. The magnificent and unspoilt coastline of the Rame Peninsula and Mount Edgcumbe estate are all within easy walking distance. 

Nearby, lying to the west of the Rame Peninsula, are the renowned beaches of Whitsand Bay, with fine golden sand, and excellent swimming and surfing facilities. The City of Plymouth is easily accessible year-round via the Torpoint Ferry, Tamar Bridge or Cremyll Ferry and in summer months the Cawsand Ferry departing from Cawsand beach directly to the Barbican in Plymouth.  

Directions:
Follow the signs for Kingsand/ Cawsand. Turn left into Kingsand and follow the road down the hill to the car park next to the Half Way Pub. Park the car and on foot, pass the Halfway Pub on your right and follow the road past the Post office and the Clock Tower. Take the turning left just past the Westcroft Gallery and proceed up the hill. Heavitree Road can be found on your right.
